With war ever looming do you get worried that you will be called up? Or would you sign up before being called up? Now if you had the choice what service would you join and why? Also what area of the service would you want to join up with?

 

Me personally i'm going for the Royal Marines, which is the ground force to the Royal Navy. Our training is of the hardest in the world and you are an elite force. You're not used as cannon fodder (in theory).

 

I've just sent off for an information and reg pack for them as have been thinking about it for some time. Want to try the reserves out first. But with war fastly approaching i do wonder if this choice is the right one, lol. I guess you can't join the force and not think that you're going to sail through it without seeing action.

 

So without a morbid thought what service would you join and what area would you want to be in.

Lately no, it's on my mind pretty much all the time and with it being pretty much what the news talks about and with the bbc news website being my home page i'm constantly reading up on it.

RAF, i actually applied and got accepted when i was 16 anmd was due to go in just after 17th birthday but my wanker bf at the time wouldnt let me so didnt end up goin in!! Maybe did me a favour tho!!

ive always found the idea of bein in a plane that goes very fast when you're bein shot at to be much better than standin on the ground

unless you have a heat seeking missle then you ask the plane to "GO FASTER, GO FASTER DAMN YOU!!"
