Do you ever get that feeling when you look back on a decision you made in your life and realise that you could be somewhere completely different rite now.

For example, if I hadn't split up with my ex then rite now I'd be in Gldford with the snow. Probably getting ready to go out to a restaurant to celebrate three years of being together.

But he's gone and now I'm all alone and the worst part is

THERE IS NO SNOW!!!!

Oh well on the brite side. If I hadn't split up with my ex I wouldn't be going to Passion 2mo.

Sooooo very glad I am bouncy.gif

if i had got married like i was supposed to at 19, i would be in a dead end job, in a miserable realtionship, and probably have a kid by now.

Instead im in a dead end job, in loads of debt, BUT in a great relationship, no kids, have a degree, and am a happy bunny.

Im happy where i am!!

aye i've been thinking that a lot these past couple of days. How come we tend to think this more when we break up with someone? As i'm thinking about my ex too, realised how much i missed her and how much things have changed and how much i've changed. Some for the good some for the bad.

There is deff two things that i'm really happy with!!

If i hadn't split up with my ex n left a pretty secure future behind with it then guess I'd jsut b lookin forward to another w/end in and doin the weekly shoppping n watching and arguing over the tv rolleyes.gif

When I compare that to the w/ends I have now - well I know what 1 I'd rather have thumbs.gif

If I hadn't dropped outta uni I'd b in my last yr now too, tho I've landed a decent job anyways so guess no regrets there neither thumbs.gif

i nearly got married at 20 but if i had i think that my life would have changed totally and i wouldnt be doing the things that i'm doing now and i wouldnt have experienced the things or met the people that i have!!!! but i am happy the way my life is going now and i wouldnt change it for the world!!!!! thumbs.gif

Hmmmmm, if I hadnt changed jobs a few years ago, and come to think of it, if I'd never split with an ex a couple of years ago, I wouldnt have started "proper" clubbing, I wouldnt have met the new friends I have now, and there would definitely be no Trancefusion. I definitely wouldnt be the person that I am today. To be honest, I think I'm much better off too.

If i was still with my ex i'd have been married 4 2 and 1/2 years probably have at least 1 sprog & doing the dutiful house wife thing. Bollox 2 that!!!

My friends say i'm a completely different person now as i have my own personality.

I would never have discovered clubbing, been 2 ibiza, gone 2 uni & made so many brilliant friends through clubbing. At the time it was [censored] but in the long run i have my life back thumbs.gif

Yep pepsi

Career decision think was a bad choice- back in 95 I had the choice of 2 graduate jobs to go for- one would of been riskier than the other and got me (probably) a chance to [censored] in the industry I wanted to, the other was more dosh and for a far more prestigious company (M&S) Lot of pressure from family and friends amongst other things made me choose wrong in my eyes- I have since left the retail industry thank fook and have a job I enjoy of sorts- but cant help thinking what if...

Christ, if I had done what I was supposed to, I would be coming up on my 10th Wedding anniversary!!! Feck me, that makes me sound old, instead I am about to embark on the biggest adventure of my life, and what will hopefully be the most fulfilling thing I ever achieve. Thank [censored] for making mistakes. (I spent a year regretting dumping my fiancee, best thing I ever did grin.gif)

that's true of every single decision we make... go out your door and turn left or right - who knows what could have happened if you went the other way...

If i'd got decent qualifications and jobs etc after school. I maybe could be rich now and sitting on a beautiful beach in the Bahamas this very second ... instead of shivering in the sunny Midlands scratchchin.gif
