They both mean precisely the same.

 

 

Couldn't one of the words be used to mean something else?

 

OK I designate 'inflammable' for the loved up feeling on a good night out from now on.

 

"Woah, I feel so inflammable now that 'Revolution' is playing. I'm going up in flames..."

I think flamable means something that burms. Inflamable means that it will actively increase the fire. Maybe.
