is it going the way you want it to?

 

have you met any expectations that you made/thought about when you were younger?

 

are you happy with life?

 

i thought id be settled down by now (age 27), married, no kids just yet, be a midwife, be driving a nice car, a hefty mortgage, 2 holidays a year

 

but its all gone a bit tits up ....had kids, divorced, council tenant, no car, shit job, no money & lucky if i have 1 holiday a year.......

 

But.....

 

to be honest im doing more with my life & im happier than my mates who have no commitments, more money & great jobs, all they seem to do is whinge about work, housemates/partners & getting themselves in more debt by paying off a credit card with another credit card

 

im happy with life.......are you?

At this exact moment in time, YES!! A few days ago, I wasnt entirely happy, but a chat, a hug & a few days later, all is groovy!!

 

My life, so far seems to be exactly the same as yours, Lou. Married young, kids, divorce, debt etc, but now, things are sorting themselves, have met a great partner & things are going well

I am happy with life, yes.

 

Sometimes you get those days when life means absolute shite to you and can't be arsed with anything. But I guess everyone has those days !

 

I have alot planned for myself and my future, this makes me happier about life every day. i.e makes me motivated / determined and to succeed with what I want out of life / career and my personal future.

 

I seem to want something new happening in my life / that I want in the future / to work towards every day, and feel that I am more of a competitive indivual every day, which I am loving that about myself !

 

I have my friends who I love and my family who are diamonds, and these kind of people make me the positive person I have become !

 

Loads of things make me real happy about life and it's future every day.

 

Just thinking of the goals I aim to achieve in my life makes me happy.

 

And my friends and family always keep me on the road.

im still the biggest disapointment ever to my mum, she would of rather see me stay with a cheat of a husband & lead a miserable life, than go out on my own & be a single/working mum

 

mums the sort that embarrasses easy, she didnt wnt to tell the family/friends that my marrige was over because she didnt want to tell them i would be a council dwelling single mum (yes i still have a few issues with my mum)

hahahaha, do we have the same mother?????????????? Mine is exactly the bloody same, cant do anything right for getting it wrong, in her eyes Lou, so hon, you are not alone

makes me feel better, thought my mum was a throw back to the 40s (stay at home & please the hubby)

oh god no, you are defo not alone, my mum is so, erm old fashion & believes, that a life is not allowed after giving birth, you wouldnt believe it!!

atm i'm not all that happy as not sure where my life is going. Starting a sound engieneering course at beginning of july so when thats done i have many more options and can finally get on and do something worthwhile in life

life deffinatly hasn't gone the way i planned

life is kinda all going wrong at the moment

If everyone's life turned out how they planned it, it would be boring. Mine is nothing like I planned it. Thought I'd be doing an English literature PhD by now instead of being stuck on the dole in Tipton. But I have a great bf and life is easy enough for now.

My life is turning out how i expected it, i am scared that i am turning into my parents though. Thank Christ i started going clubbing and gave up being such a disgraceful swot. Long live drugs!
