I register domains through www.ukreg.com - they are pretty cheap (.co.uk are about £3/yr) and the web interface is easy to use.

 

Just looked and they have this offer on at the mo as well. Will be fine if your site isn't all that bandwidth hungry.

UKREG are definitely good and cheap for registration, but I would then make sure you host it with a decent web host immediately.

 

I used to have all sorts of problems with e-mails disappearing when I used their forwarding service, I lost some pretty important e-mails to the ether...
