You know the "envelope" icon next to each item in the list of threads - usually this is lit to indicate there are new posts.

 

However sometimes, it appears lit even though I was the last person to post. Why is that? Is it because somebody edited their post or something?

Bullshit, it was a "Russ is bored again at work" reply.

so untrue- I have had a tough day. Out for lunch at Fishmarket then a meeting with a Japanese spark plug company and now thinking up questions for a company I am meeting in Japan where I actually haven't yet worked out what they do...
