In an attempt to understand the human psyché, I was wondering what really really really makes you cringe?

 

2 things that make my pasty skin crawl.....

 

1. Sponge - Euuurrrgghhhh!!! Jesus....its weird. I cannot pick up a new sponge without my skin trying to climb off my bones....

 

2. Locked forks - when 2 forks get their prongy bits stuck together and the act of pulling them apart....hurrrghh...even the thought makes me feel sick...

 

cotton wool & white chocolate (not at the same time)

Gays and women.

rubbing my nails on certain material it goes strait through me.

Mullets.

Parker coats.

Turned up trouser and boot combo's.

 

All cringe worthy.

Neighbours and Hollyoaks

i hate brushing a broom on wet concrete for some reason.

The only thing I can think of that made me cringe (nearly throw up) was that bit in American History X with the teeth on the kerb.

that has the cringe factor.

films arnt scary, but they can have the cringe factor, where you end up itchin the part that was jus on film.

Sometimes the sound of tearing paper makes me cringe and i have no idea why

 

Also the part in Haniball, where he scoops that bit of brain out of the blokes head while he alive!

oohh I love the sound of ripping paper - so satisfying!

surely we're talking about harmless stuff that makes you go "ergh", rather than stuff like ppl's heads getting knocked off?

I dont think there was anything stipulated like that when the question was asked ?
