Blu, your advice about Rewire, Reason and Rebirth was spot on mate, it works fine on my machine. Hope it works on yours too Lana, install Reason AFTER Rebirth to get the right version of Rewire, then launch Reason and the Reason input before launching Rebirth.

 

One question that will make me love this combination forever. Is there anyway of selecting Rebirth patterns from within Reason? The one thing I hate about Rebirth is that you can't sequence patterns and mess the about easily, the way you can move blocks about in other sequencers. The way I work is that I write a riff, build a verse or two around it, then build something else, and chop and change the patterns, but you can't do that in rebirth.

any suggestions?

All i can think of doing is selecting the patterns via the keyboard shortcuts.

Rebirth is a [censored] to work with but i like the sound of 303's put through the effects in reason.
