gutted!!! i didn't get to play your track!!

 

here's my excuse:

 

we were hip-hopping/r&b'ing it up to the max until about 12am. then we learn that Avenger's likely to be coming on at 12.30am, nice, but we reckon it's going to be more like 1am, and i'm thinking i'll stick on your tune just before he's due to come on. so we smack on the house, bring everyone up a bit more, even though they want more r&b, and then lo and behold i stick on Blue Monday, then Damon decides he's going on, as it's 12.30am already. [censored].

 

he smacks on Skee Lo "I Wish", brings it all back to the hip-hop, then mashes it up like that for a good hour! completely PACKS the dancefloor when i thought it would go down [censored], he's playing all manner of hip-hop mash-ups and quickly cutting from one track to the next, eventually he sticks down Daft Punk "Da Funk" (tune), and brings up the tempo, taking it towards the breaks. then he fucks off at 2.30am, my co-dj Dan sticks on some breaks, then fires up the drum & bass, before i know it, it's 3am, some prodigy to finish off, and that's it.

 

had every intention of playing it as well. sorry dude, i'll play it next week and give you a reaction then. just saw it come on MTV2 as well.
