Does any1 know of any good antivirus software icould download, iM running windows server 2003 and norton antivirus will not run on servers so another needed, I already have norton personal firewall.

Try mcafee. We're using them here, and they are pretty good.

that's a config issue mate. you runnin latest issue of 2003 MS server? If so i'm not 100% if you will be able to find a virus killer that will be able to do the job at the mo.

 

however check out AVG at http://www.grisoft.com

We use Trend at work - theres a server edition - you could prob download a trial version

Its gotta be Norton Anti Virus 2003!

ive just had my comp upgraded too windows xp. i tried runnin a norton anti virus disc on it. it says my comp has a virus, but my comp still isnt protected, the norton thing didnt work. does that make sense? i dont know wot too do either

Im running Windows Server 2003 which is similar to xp but is for servers obviously. Although Norton Person Firewall 2003 works fine it states Antivirus 2003 cannot operate on Server 2003 so it wont let me install. Ive tried the other ones ppl have recommended in prev posts but to no avail. So am at a lost. Dunno what to do.

Sure will, in mean time if u think u have virus do an online scan of ur computer by going to the following site

And then selecting free online scan and then following instructions, doesnt install anything but will do an onling scan and clean up and check ur system for viruses. My comp working better.
