Was great for being able to spend a lot of time with my bestest friend in the whole wide world and sort out a lot of [censored] that had been bothering me, not been clubbing at all this weekend and it was great! Hope to spend a lot more time doing other things cos my life has revolved around clubbing too much recently

It was this weekend.... well, the one just gone

Fri: Almost died in a tiny speedboat in the middle of the english channel (ok just off the south coast but it was still pretty scary). Back into town for a big piss-up.

 

Sat: Turnmills - I thought this was going to great but the [censored] up guestlist got things off to a bad start. Still nice to see some old faces again though. The music was mediocre at best and I found myself asking do I still like funky? ahh, but then I went to ....

 

Sun: ... sssnorth in Leeds - and into room 2 where the Garlands DJ's played some fuckin amazing funky tunes and reminded me why I love funky house so much - turnmills was shite in comparison. Perhaps I should have more of an effort to get into the main room with the rest of the ctw'ers but I was loving it too much. Although mattd, beckie, nina, highlander made frequent appearances to keep me company on the dance floor. Did make it briefly into the main room where I was pleasantly surprised to find the music policy was more hard trance than Hard house (don't quote me on my music genre definitions though). Onto Hforce where the ear splitting sound system made me retreat up to the funky room for an hour or so to chill out and then back into the groove till closing.
