I do love Carl Cox although I wouldn't say he played proper techno to be honest, it's tech-house.

There is such a thing as pure, unadulerated, xxx, strictly 18 and over techno, and thats the stuff I usually play, although I don't think It'd go down too well on Fri

Iv'e only got 2 decks at the mo, and it's annoying the hell out of me, I really need another, and I wanna get my 505 into it aswell

 

p.s. Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke were playing the afore-mentioned sub-genre at Homelands, which some of us made the effort to go to

v tru - but theres times when i've hread him (glasto being 1 of em) and it was just madness - there wasnt a housey choon in sight.

 

not seen dave clark yet but i've heard him do alot of lives sets (streamed or on the radio) plus i think i have a cd of his sumwhere

 

luke slaters an odd ball as well, his productions r most deffo tech-house, yet all the stuff i've heard him play has been v non housy techno.

 

i guess al djs play diff depending on thier mood
