ok - as most of u already know, i love my techno and techno drivern hardhouse/nu nrg

so when i heard anne savage had produced a techno driven hardhouse i was eager to hear it

yesterday was that 1st chance i had of picking it off the shelf and onto a turntable to give it my 1st listening and i have to say that it is utter SHITE!!!

its not techno driven, its just baoring and minimal. since when does techno tunes have to be baoring and minimal to be techno? banghead.gif

very disapointed i was - this tune is almost as bad as "face facts" by farly & bk shame.gif

Sorry but I agree with Mr Happy 100% here! The only words I could use to describe this tune are UTTER SHITE and I really can't understand how it became so popular! disappointed.gif

Each to there own, but your comments are somewhat thoughtless as its hardly an unoriginal track is it. It got popular because it doesn't sound like every other track, it has a 'different' sound to it, although with every tune u can never really judge how it sounds properly til u hear it being played in a club and very loud volume.

originality dont excuse baoring productions shame.gif

how many tunes out there do u love that scream of clechays(sp?) ie 'music is a drug', 'serious sound', etc - yet u lot love them

all i'm saying is i have techno tunes that follow a simpular direction as hellraiser yet they r far far more interesting tracks. take the stuff on 'bang on records' (tracks produced by the likes of ant, alien thing, etc), 'maximun minimum' (which i know is a big influence to anne savage) which is chris liberators label, 'hydrolix' (D.A.V.E. the drummer) and 'stay up forever' (D.A.V.E. the drummer, liberator, etc). thier all harddance style techno. some of the tracks can be just as dark and bouncy yet non of em i would say were baoring.
