There is a LOT of variation in the 'hardhouse' genre... you cant honestly say a tune by Eufex and a tune by Ingo are anything like each other can ya? If DJs would expand their collections a bit further then the latest tidytrax/nukleuz/tripoli promos, the scene would be a lot more interesting!!!

Nope, I dont agree with ya lol..... just because they are based around the same structure, doesnt make them repetitive at all!!

 

Look at pop music, thats just verse-chorus-verse-chorus-verse style, yet nobody would call that repetitive..... the verses are all the same duration, with the same backing track, with different vocals......

 

Dance music is the same backing track (bass + percussion), with different loops over it, and breakdowns instead of a chorus....

What have i started here?

true, dance music is created on electronic gadgets and the style has a bass drum going more or less constantly throughought the whole tune. chords are similar (clothes show tune ne one (by pet shop bopys -- in the night, btw))
