A square button on their phone?

 

 

Last night I was asked to press the square button after i'd made my selection wtf

it means the hash key #

 

its for the technology incompetent people that see the # as a square

 

looks more like a square on a phone

Nahh it wasn't as i'd already been asked to press the hash #

the hash key is used on touch-tone selection menu's so might have been that??

Chris they'd already prompted me to use the # key then the square key so I'm presuming it's a different one

everyone knows its the one next to the triangle button

"Square" definitely means "hash" [#]. I've called automated telephone lines, where they asked me to press "square", and the # key was the only thing that worked.
