These banners are one of the few things keeping this site alive! What are they doing to your PC anyway?

the clubbing banners are fine, but they have been hijacked with silly banners that say ive won a million and click here, thing is they slow my pc right down and it takes me about a year to load the page, i have to disconnect from the net and re connect about 10 times before they go away there a right pain in the arse!!

Try downloading some freeware that stops pop-ups. You should be able do do a search on google for just that (stop pop-ups). Strange that you get actual pop-ups. I don't - only the banner. Could they be related to your ISP or some other sites you have visited?

It means you have new mail you popular thing you, now go check it.
