I am absolutly LOVING this tune at the moment but am having real trouble trying to mix it

 

I find myself, when mixing this tune, endlessly playing about with the pitch control to get it right - but it just never mixes in perfectly! I have no problem with any other tunes it's just this one!

 

Tips ?

 

 

 

Seems to be o.k for me hunny, on my mix c.d i just brought it in with the bass cut and slowly E.Qed it back up gradually so there was no sudden change or random loudness from either record.

Is an interesting record to mix tho, and only sounds good when mixed wiht the right tracks, some just don't go (then again, this is the case with every record).

 

Try mixing it with loads of different tracks, lots of different mix combinations and you'll find one you love.

that tune is a horrible vile tune- its 1 of the only hard hosue tunes i can truly honnestly say i hate!

 

and the reason its so tricky to mix is cuz its baoring so u have to do sumthin to keep it interesting, with out making it sound more minimal than it alrady is by putting too much of another record in.

Personally, I think it's a well wikid tune. MUCH different from all the hardhouse tunes around at the moment and that is why I like it so much.

but if u like that kinda harddance then y dont u check out stuff by D.A.V.E. the drummer, Ant, chris liberator, etc - much much higher standard of production and embrase the techno vs hardhouse sound infinatly better

 

or even better still - check out my mix cds and u'll c exactly what i'm on about

To be honest, I went on my decks b4 work today, I see imporvement each time I go on them. I guess im just not THAT confident to put a cd together yet.
