Hmmmmmmm. 9hrs of Armin van Buuren to celebrate the closing of Code for 2 months. Gods are gutting the venue and rebuilding a brand new experience to open in September.

 

Seems like an exceptionally good reason to force Mr. VB (who apparently is in [censored] hot form at the moment!) to bang it out for 9 YES NINE Hours!!

Forgive my ignorance, but will Armin get HARD? I like Hard trance, and I have been meaning to check out GK for months, but never quite made it.

 

As for Code being a SUPER club, I was there on Boxing day, and was very unphazed by it, it is a nice club, but a "super" club. If that is a superclub, I have been to a few

It will probably start quite proggy, get a little bit more banging after midnight, and really start blasting at around 3. All the while there will be the requisite melody and euphoria with a sweet tech edge. Sounds like heaven to me...

 

 

yeah ill b there will b a good nine hrs! kitchen is a quality club i go most weeks but i fink super club is goin a bit far!! The closin nite will definiatly pull a nice crowd!!!!!

well it should be beter than when i went to see tiesto the other week, apart from the man itself it was loads of crappy techno..

Yup, it was supposed to be *the* super club... But it isn't... And they've had loads of bad feedback.

 

Whilst aesthetically, I don't feel it encourages atmosphere that well. Yup, some nights can be electric there - but it really is hit and miss.

 

Also that thing they call a chillout room is a disgrace!

 

Hopefully they'll create something a bit better this time!

What a fecking night! Armin is GOD!

Tune after choon after chooooon all night long - not to mention 3 'one mores'. First time at Gods - nice enough venue and a really friendly crowd. If anybody hasn't seen a 9hr set by a trance god, you've really missed out.

 

Can't really say more than that really...

this was fookin great guys - wicked to see fint and don top top fellas fanx for avin me.

 

Armins set was incredible. during the 8 hours the ONLY tune i heard him go bad on was some wierd funky hip hop tune at about 3:30, and within 30 secs he did the feedback thing and put a trance riff over the top and back on track.

As for the club and the night...... The best I have ever had. Great music (second tune when we got in was Beachball!), some really up for it people - friendly with it. An oxygen bar (peppermint with Motorcycle - Rush as the tune of the moment), glowsticks, lasers, fit women and everything else that was going on - truely one of THE experiences of clubland.
