Posted June 30, 200321 yr CTW Members ...if you've never been to Glastonbury before I soooo recommend it... just come back from such an excellent weekend... highlights included... (1) My karate instructor, getting married in the chapel in the 'lost vagueness'... the chapel was superb (great DJ deck playing cool soul tunes)... and the ceremony really choked me up!... beautiful... (2) the sun starting to shine on Friday... (3) the way the festival site was set up... huge banners... peace flags... the chilled glade area... the tipi's...etc... (4) Jimmy Cliff's set mid-way through the Saturday... dancing away with Kris in the sun... "I can see clearly now the rain has gone" has never seemed to apt... (5) The Flaming Lips... sing alongs to "Yoshimi" and "Happy Birthday" to the 5 year old daughter of one of the program sellers... plus seeing the two Giant Rabbits on stage dancing together (as a mate and his girlfriend were in the costumes)... (6) Having breakfast watching the Yeovil Town [brass] Band on the Pyramid stage... (7) Chilling in the Stone Circle area... (8) The general... but not OTT campaigning vibe to the festival... the number of peace flags in the crowd really got to me in the end (clearly a hippie at heart) and seeing Oxfam/ Greenpeace/ WaterAid get so much publicity was cool... (9) The SugarBabes... their TOTP dance routines ... and 'sexy dance moves' ... (10) Macy Gray!... must buy her latest CD... the funkiest of all acts!!!... and a nice butt too! Could go on... and list would probably be alot longer if i could remember all of Friday and Saturday nights in the dance tent... great weekend and will definately be back there next year... if you want to mix up your dance scene with another mixed up world for a weekend it's a really v cool place to be!!!

July 3, 200321 yr CTW Members Aaaah. Didn't want it to end. Slowly coming back to reality and missing the constant "hee, hee's"... in a Michael Jackson/Bo Selecta stylee! My highlights: Fatboy Slim (impromptu set on Radio 1 stage,on the Sunday) Radiohead Moby Lost Vagueness & the Freak Show Watching the sunrise on the Sunday morning, whilst singing 'Sit Down' by James, to the all bastards who were standing up and spoiling the view! Dondo: Nice on mate. Can't wait for next year.
