All I can say is what the fuck? Weirdness. Are you new to the production game then? The sounds used in it are very Fruity it's very easy to spot a tune made on Fruity.

Well sorry it just sounds horrible I don't like it, it's annoying. It's like you have gone mad in the sequencers, piano rolls etc hitting notes all over the place. Not good.

had a listen this morning laurence, sounding ok, but something missing IMO, not sure what, but then my opinions, counts for nought eh, as I aint got the first clue, better than I could ever do, in a million years!!

IMO lisa you dont have to be a musician to comment on someones work. the opinion of a listeners ear is just as valuable i reckon

i was delibratly trying to keep it minimal and groove based. although its easy to fall into the trap of just being repetative and unintellegent (for want a better word)

 

maybe an sample here and there would break up the monotony

well, i take it is a techy tune your making?/ if so, sounding ok to me

i think i'll completely re-work my tune when get better samples. i like the main riff and the bassline (altho a new punchier kick drum would be nice), but the rest is very so-so.

theres no where near enough percussion

i've pretty much came to the same conclusion. i didnt want it to be very percusive as i wanted to avoid the sterio type that techy hardhouse has to be percursive. but it deffinatly needs more going on in the higher frequencies

Who makes the kick drums then if "no fukker does" ?
