your not alone, ive heard of lot of people who hate it too.

norton internet security (the anti-vrius and firewall package) are the best i've used yet.

 

it lets me block every incomming and outgoing data packet unless i specifically aproove it.

 

i cant really fault it.

iv had no problems with anything since using it

yeh, I never did when I had it installed. I think its a hit & miss with people, some like, some dont, i have also heard of some peoples comps fooki ng up cos of it

used to use AVG but it let all virus's through....was completely useless, ok my norton was more expensive but its deffo worth it as it automatically updates every few days if your on broadband unlike AVG which was about one a month

i very much doubt it damaged their computer. because virus scanners run at such a low level, if system files were corrupt to start with, it wouldnt take much to toppel the system over

Just saying what I have heard from anoither site, when Norton was disscussed happy!!

when I worked in Tech Support, the most comman problem with peopes computers, was Nortan fucking it up. Even on brand new computers with alot of disc space / enough memory to add the Nortan on their PC.

 

Before, it used to fuck up my mail, untill I took it off (before re-adding it again).

 

It deffo is something you either love, or hate.
