Why only female DJ's?

We are takin in all demos from everyone but want a female hard dj, if you play then email me for an address to send a demo too.

Am I being oversensitive by thinking that this is blatant sexual discrimination? [And no, i don't play, and have no vested interests, just find it odd that you specify FEMALE, I wouldn't have thought it would have made any difference as long as they were good]

We have loadsa demos off lads and none off girls so we're looking for a female DJ...

Like being on a street full of Chinese restraunts and wanting an Indian I suppose. lol

it makes no diff what so ever about the gender of the DJ. infact i'm amazed u even noticed that u had no demos off male DJs as i wouldnt even have bothered to look

Alas, I am afraid you are missing the point, you are discriminating on the grounds of sex.

Do you have black DJ's? Would consider advertising specifically for black DJ's?

What about disabled DJ's, would you advertise specifically for them?

 

Surely all you are interested in are GOOD DJ's, regardless of sex, colour, creed, ethnicity, height, weight, age, eye colour or whether they are called Blink or not.
