[censored] arseholes, charge way too much fer shortest of journeys, re-organise the timetable and the routes so you don't know what time or which bus stop you might be able to expect them to turn up at, and then the cheeky bastards today wouldn't let me on unless I had some change because i only had 3 one squids for a £2.05 fare - it were only travelllin 4 - 5 mile n all... takes 10 min in car... feckin rip-off merchants ! ended up havin to say i'd give the 3 quid i had and take whateva change he had when i got off... feckin' 20p my arse... fleecin' me of 75p... and it ain't the fookin first time neva... TWATS ! [ and yet the "government" want us to use public transport, they can stick that up their [censored] arse !

In Brum, you don't get change at all from buses (okay, a few of the smaller companies do, but that's only until Centro make them have sealed boxes).

 

But I agree - Stagecoach are pure evil. Thank fook we don't have them round here.

 

When Brian Souter (owner and head of Stagecoach) set up a freepost address for his "support section 28" campaign a few people I know sent a knackared fridge freezer all the way to Scotland using the freepost address.

 

Section 28 - basically meant that no public authority could support anything "homosexual" - this included education, helping the understanding within the community, etc... Indeed it even meant that if a teacher even suspected a student of being gay, they had to report it immediately to their superiors *and* the students parents - even if the teacher was were told in the strictest of confidences. Lots more to it, but it was basically an illegal law (as ruled by the European Courts) that was stricken from the law books eventually after the House of Commons had to use the Parliament Act to push it through with the House of Lords throwing huge paddys all the time...
