Was speaking to a mate recently who told me of something that happened to him after a night out. Him and his mates were heading to a party in the country and got a bit, um, lost. Old Bill stops him cos of a dodgy brake light, takes no notice that they're all a bit smiley and asks him, "So, do you know where this rave is then, mate?" My mate replied no but was quite shocked he'd even been asked. The copper reckoned he wanted to know in case the party had got out of hand. Hmmm ...

 

Perhaps he was nearing the end of his shift and needed somewhere to unwind?
