Well what can I say? Im gutted! I had very high expectations for this new series and I was let down badly!!!

 

Not a patch on series 1 + 2. It just didnt feel right and the new characters are shit! MJ was still funny as fuck though!

 

I only hope it gets better as the series progresses but so far a big thumbs down! Anyone else asgree/disagree??

the ads for it was enough to put me off, but then again i never thought the first series was funny

I loved series 1 tho.... what a shame

After a couple of episodes of the first series it became boring, very quickly.

 

I didn't epect anything of this series and didn't bother watching it.

I thought it was funny.

 

Bo Selecta takes the piss out of celebrity culture and it's nice that they've acknowledged the fact that he's no a celebrity in his own right.

 

As always, a couple of the sketches were shit, but overall it was good.

It made me titter but not laugh out loud like the previous two series, I didn't appreciate the canned laughter either. It looked like a bit too glossy and soft-focused too, like that recent new series of Red Dwarf, comedy like that is meant to look cheap and cheerful imo

Watched and was giutted, it was trying too hard to be funny, and failed miserably.

 

It has a hell of a lot to live up to after the first 2 series, but i think he should have just stopped it after 2. Its the ali g syndrome, he was awesome on the 11o'clock show, but once he had his own series he bacame average.

 

The Office had the right idea and stopped after the 2nd series, and was justified as i didnt rate the xmas special!

 

I'll watch bo selecta again, and hope it improves!

 

But on the evidence of last night, its got a hell of a job.

Some scenes really cracked me up especially Baddiel & Skinner. Ha Baddiel sounded well funny. "Call me a jew"

only bit that made me laugh was the idea of "sight seeing with stevie wonder"... thought the rest of it was pretty crap :-/
