Was an excellant night tho, music was superb, right up until Jules came on !!

Shame I missed it, I hold Serious dear to my heart. Will be there for the 7th birthday party next month though.

 

Gutted that I missed Anne Savage. What was Jules like? I heard that his set wasn't that bad this time.

The Cross is tooooo damn hot - like Camden - I wish these places would buy into aircon or something because its a nightmare clubbing in the summertime. I cant wait for winter - honest!

Too ruddy hot!! Too ruddy over ruddy crowded!! And none of the buggers started drifting off at 3 because Savage and Jules played the last two sets.

 

Still the choons were top fecking notch! Kommi (?) was knocking out some wicked tribal, dirty, funky trance to kick us off. Luke Neville gave us the usual mix of tech trancers and sweet classics. Savage was awesome - heard her at Heat two months ago and she was ear-bleedingly bad - this time round she was blasting out some wicked bouncy hard trance. And Jules hit the spot - that's twice in a row and three times in four that he's been on form...I think it's about time people started giving him a break.

 

The doorstaff on the other hand...I'll give them a bloody break!! What on earth possessed them to let so many punters in, I'll never know.

 

Spent a really lush evening talking to people in the garden. As well as the usual suspects (Rach, Ed, Fred etc.) I also met Andrew and Tony - top lads. And it was good to see nice1bruvva for the first time in months.

 

Also met some seriously nice girls...but it was all a poor substitute for Uncle Don. roll on the birthday party!

Don't know what it was like at Serious, but at Type (Erick Morillo) the previous Saturday, the heat was unbearable and they had to block off the main room until it was virtually 20 out and 1 in.

 

I snuck in half an hour into his set and stayed for the duration, not sure how much weight I lost as a result though! Isn't it amazing how clubs in Ibiza manage to be cooler (temperature wise) than the London ones.

 

 

i think thats cos you wear less clothes in Ibiza!!!

 

Last year I remember there being some very fuckin hot nights!! I lost a stone in a week

I was speaking to one of the security blokes on Saturday about how hot and busy it was. He said that it was alot worse the week before at Type.

 

Hard to believe as it was sooooo busy in the garden.

it's about time that Luke moved on. His sets used to be legendary but it's the same set every month. Jules was wicked on Sat, better than last time.
