not too pricey if needs be but i have little idea what to get

Sure needles are more aimed at the scratch DJs mate, is that what you want??

 

If you dont want anything to pricey go for the stanton 500al's. Cheap and reliable with a good overall sound quality!

tru - but these were aimed at a wider market. plus they boasted improved sound clarety and higher responce 4 the bass and trebble. both of which appealed to me. plys thier look fukin georgious! heartbeat.gif

 

but £100 each seems a tad ott 4 bedroom djing

stantons are about £15 each

I use Ortofon Nightclub 'S', quality sound, excellent for scratching, and only £150 a pair

Is it just the stylus you need?.....

If this is all you need then you can pick em up at most music/DJ shops for about £15

Thats cheap for quality needles, my 1210's ltd's have the gold ortofon's on, now they are expensive!!
