I always wanted to be a nursery nurse

 

I fulfilled this ambition for 5 years, loved my job.

 

I used to spend my days playing with sand, getting covered in paint and reading stories and generally having lots of fun.

 

Then realised there was no money to be made so i'm training to be a nurse instead where there's still no money to be made!!

I wanted to be one of the little people in the TV!

 

Then my mam told me they weren't in the TV (spoiltsport) and that they were real people, so naturally I wanted to be a real person.

 

Then she said they were pretending to be the people on the program, so I wanted to be a person who pretends to be a person.

 

Then when I started school, I was in a school play and discovered the people who 'pretended' to be people were infact actors, so that's what I wanted to be!

 

Then, when I was 10-15 when I was a St John Ambulance cadet, I wanted to be a paramedic (though I still loved acting) but then when my best friend died, and I felt helpless, I decided that I'd stick to acting as Dean (my best friend) always said that he believed I could do it and that I was a great actress and I was already a in his eyes!

 

I have sorta succeeded in that - doing plays at theatres, being an extra (not very 'acting like' is it?!) and also doing short films for Northern Film School!

 

I am going to college in September to study Performing Arts!
