Thats just wrong...if they offered you a lift then you shouldnt pay anything.

If you asked them for a lift and they arent going then you should pay the £20.

If you asked and they ARE going then you should pay maybe a fiver.

If there is 5 in the car a£5 each is ample, thats all I paid last year & there was 4 of us inc driver, it got us there & back & we came all the way from hampshire!!!
