Right here it goes: Basically i've been offered the opportunity to either A: have a CTW room (which would most probably be hard dance) at Smile @ Sahara nights (kings cross London) or B: have CTW DJ's playing in various rooms on one particular night. As this promotion has old skool, trance, funky, and hard dance rooms. so basically i what to know what every one would prefer, a CTW room with one music policy or CTW DJ's playing in different rooms. I'll be looking to get this night off the ground late August or Earl Sept (whats best for everyone?) and really need to know if enough CTW'er would come as would not be worth it otherwise. *if anyone could set up a poll that would be great, as i've tried b4 and it all went tit's up and didn't even work* This venue is excellent, i went there last night for a meeting and looks fantastic. 4 floors, roof garden and a drinks licence til 6 in the morning one of the only clubs in London who can boast this To add to this we could make a proper night of it, as Lisa (miss_diddy) and myself could arrange a second room just for CTW to have an afterparty at the Fire Club in vauxhall. so if we get enough support i'll defo get this one rolling. thanks for your time ................................................................................ NEWS JUST IN I've just spoken to Nick at Smile and we have penciled in the 13th Sept (is this date ok?). we have discussed the DJ's and Rooms problem, and have come up with the solution that CTW can have the main room (possibly with one maybe 2 Smile DJ's playing) which will be hard dance. in addition to this he will find slots in the other rooms for our other DJ's (funky ect). He will also pay all DJ's (may not be alot but atleast it will be something). And all CTW members will get in on a concessions guestlist (so add your names to the list for me please). At present CTW will not earn any money out of this but i will push for this, if the night is a success /images/graemlins/thumbs.gif NOW HOW DOES THAT SOUND?? If you don't get to play this time, there will be other chances will try and arrange it so everyone can play at some point. so what's the score with the one room or Dj's spread over different rooms thing then? can anyone make a poll up too.

July 17, 200321 yr Author CTW DJs Cool but this means it would have to be the main room as we would probably be playing hard (and if in the main room thats what would be expected to be played) therefore a good turnout would defo be needed

July 17, 200321 yr I would deffo be up for coming for this, but although i do play Hard, i prefer playing old skool, so a number of rooms would be better for me, or could we build the main room up so it gets nice and hard? Tony - can you supply us with more details mate please, i'll get that CD sorted ASAP and send you it down, but for me to come to this 1 - It's a way to travel 2 - I need a hotel reasonably close to people, as i'd get lost in London M
July 17, 200321 yr Author CTW DJs The problem with the room thing is that they are gonna have strick music policies in each room. Ideally i'd like to have a CTW room where we could start it off funky and progress through the night until it's hard. Therefore keeping everyone happy. The after part will be hard thou I'll have to get back to Smile and see what they say. But before this goes any further i really gotta know if enough people from the site will be interested in coming to this. mark as soon as i get more info i'll let everyone know
