A few days ago I saw Boy George play at Es Paradis and I have to say I was pretty impressed! His mixing wasn't amazing but his style of music was interesting and different, really nice trancey/funky house, I really enjoyed it! Any of you lot heard his stuff? (seriously, lol)

 

Highlight of the night:

Boy Geroge is a legend.

 

He played at a festival "Escape In The Park" down here in wales last year.

 

And to be fair, the man blew me away. He played the most intense funky/trance style music that I never thought I would ever hear come from his spinners.

 

I will never forget the set he played - coz it give me goose bumps and I just wanted to lay there and get sucked it to this funky-trance set.

 

I would pay anything to see him play that kinda set again.

 

He's fuckin' awesome.

Sounds like he's changed his style somewhat. When I saw him back at uni, Boy George played very formulaic, middle-of-the-road camp hard house. Also heard him play similar stuff on the radio - bouncy but cheesy and not very varied or creative. But that was a few years ago!

Definately not hard house anymore!

the last time I saw Boy George play he played a wicked set!!! It was a really good funky house set!!! Not cheesy or hard!!!

I do have to say that the funky house he was playing was very good.
