This is true - they just built on the original DJM300 design, adding extra bits as they went along.... At the end of the day, regardless of how it looks, everything is positioned well on there so its easy enough to use

 

And anyway, who buys a mixer based on how nice it looks

No one I know buy's on looks, it's performance is the main thing

Well the Allen & Heath out performs the Pioneer on sound output.

 

Hook it up to a decent system and you will be amazed by how gorgeous it sounds!!! You probably wont be able to tell any difference on your home set up though.

This is another "each to their own post" but all suggestions seem excellent, at the end of the day it's all down to personal preference

More then twice the number of FX settings on the 600 and faders are more durable....
