wheb they are good they are fuckin amazing, but when they are bad, they sound terrible!

I'd say it's more like 99% / 1%.

 

I think Phenomania "Who Is Elvis" (OD404 mix) has great hoovers in it.

And, although it's cheesy as hell, "Lookin' Good" by Lisa Lashes is quite bouncy and fun.

 

(Both quite old tunes!)

hoovers are amazing when done well - shame there only seems to be a few good hoovers sounds that seem to be recycled over and over again.

 

if a hard house tune ain't got a hoover in then its probably not worth listening too for me most of the time. all the best tunes have them in
