I know there's another "mixer recommendation" thread but I'm thinking of getting a new mixer too, and I have some specific requirements...

1. at least 3 channels (so I can do "proper" 3-deck mixing)

2. assignable x-fader (so I can, say, assign two channels to one side and one to the other)

3. usual EQ controls on each channel (bass, mid, high)

4. aux send/return

5. not too expensive! But not too crap either! Under £400/£500 would be good.

I don't know of any mixers that do this for that price range. Sorry mate.

It would be good enough for some of the channels to be assignable.

E.g. the Ecler SMAC 4-channel mixer has two fixed channels and two assignable, I think.

Is this mixer any good?
