Only very few people have to have them taken out when they get Tonsilitus....

 

Stuff like bread etc. is worst thing you can eat - it will irritate your tonsils more and make them worse

Errrgh, Tonsilitis is horrible... used to have it loads and with glandular fever too... not nice!! Hope u get better soon anyway!!

Yeah Tonsilitus is well [censored], hope ya feel well soon Andy. I had mine taken out a couple of years ago-was one of my most painful experience EVER!When I woke up it felt like the doctors had rammed glass in my throat and left it there! I couldnt leave the hospital till I had eaten a bowl of cornflakes! OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

 

So glad they're gon now tho, dont have to worry bout gettin tonsilitus.

 

Drink lots of water, it helps wash the infection away.
