Can someone answer my question please.

 

Why would someone buy a new car but in a really rancid colour?

 

Am i right in saying that different paints cost different amounts? So surely if you're paying out for a brand spanking new car why on earth would you want it in an awful colour? Like bright yellow for instance.

 

Apologies to any one with a new car in an awful colour, but i don't approve.

I agree, i saw a new MR2 (i think) and it was snot green MINGIN!!

Yeah yellow cars are spot on! Especially sport ones. That sunny D car that parks outside evolution is ace!

Sports cars are only surposed to come in three colours: Black, White and red, and maybe British racing green!

I was having a discussion with someone at work the other day (a woman). and her definition of a sports car was totally different to mine.

 

She says that a sports car MUST be a convertible, a vile colour, small, and have two seats.

 

Ask the majority of fella's the same question and i doubt many will even mention the colour. Personally a sports car must be:

 

At least 300 Horsepower (i can see the females saying, Whats horespower?)

Rear wheel drive, hard top, at least 6 cylinders and at least 3 litre engine.

 

And even if you have all these elements it'll still be [censored] slow compaired to a bike

My point exactly.

 

I know i started the thread but the responses are what you'd expect from girls.

British racing green has gotta be the worst colour for a car.

 

Bright yellow is cool, as is a Cadbury's purple car that I've seen.

 

Personally I wouldn't mind a bright yellow Selika (sp?)....

It's to be noticed. It's not enough that they have an expensive fast car; these people need OTHER people to notice it too. It makes them feel good about themselves when other people notice them.

 

So, just as it's important to me that my bathroom is clean when i have visitors(!), it's important to some people that they have the "wow" factor attached to their status symbols.
