b4 u go shooting out and re installing all ur programs, some of the errors are caused by the operating system, and some are caused by the actual program. (and some r caused by the utility u downloaded last week written by a 14 year old kid in his spare time on a sunday afternoon)

 

realistically, the only way to improve ur stability without ending up worse off is to scandisk, defrag, have the latest drivers and direct x, have as *little as possible running in the taskbar (bottom right)*

Almost... You don't necessarily want the latest drivers and Direct X...

 

You want the latest *stable* versions... And that's for your specific hardware and software config...

aye. if it's working, don't change it. if it starts fukn up, first point of call.

for that info guys although its no good telling me cos i don't have a clue, i couldn't even sort my own avatar out let alone sort my comp out, but thats ok cos messenger is working now, even though hotmails still having a fit when i try to sign in

play games??? i don't even have any games on my pc. well apart from the ones that came with it and i don't play them, i have got a playstation thank you very much but thats never on either cos i can't play any of the games i got
