i'm going out with my mates for my bday on sat nite, no idea where we're going cos its a surprise, got my outfit sorted, but have no idea what sort of makeup to wear, lippy n eyeshadow main probs, any hints or tips?? please help

do u usuaully wear make up? and wat kinda night is it gonna be? like hot n sweaty pilled up night or drinkin......

gonna be a drinking night, nowt too hard cos my mates ain't into that, no i normally don't bother with make up

well what is your outfit like, colour etc... I would go for the natural look tho myself!!!

propably a cheesy dance place, wearing black trousers or skirt, with my ivory gypsy top with little burgundy coloured flows on it, black strappy sandals, that enough info?

 

Go for smokey grey/plum eyes & plum lippy hon....

Yep, i'm with Miss Diddy on this. If you're gonna be somewhere dark with disco lights you want to get noticed.

 

With your dark hair, natural make-up will be a wash-out.

 

Go for smokey-grey eyes all over the lid and blend really really well. Dont forget to do under your bottom lashes as well, and draw a black line (liquid) across your top lashes to accentuate. Then for the piece de resistance (!) dot a small shimmery white or silver eye-shadow in a tiny tiny spot just above the black line just past halfway along your eyelid (towards the outside, not the inside).

 

Two coats of black mascara, top and bottom (wait for the first coat to dry before applying the 2nd)

 

Your foundation wants to be very matt - go pretty mad with the powder not just because matt is fashionable but because on birthdays there's alot of photo taking and shiny faces are horrid on photos!

 

Plum blusher on your apples only (dont go mad).

 

Plum lipstick with a high-sheen gloss over the top.

 

Et voila!! Gorgeous, darlink!
