I sent an e-mail to Event Express to complain about the coach journey back and got following reply

 

"This matter is currently being looked into with the coach company involved. At

present the problem with the doors came from actual coach passengers forcing

entry

back onto the coach well before any passengers should have been back from the

event. If this proves to be correct the coach company concerned had no other

option

than to bring another coach from the depot in Leeds.

 

If this is the case then the correct procedure was enforced by the coach company

and the additional cost has been passed onto Event Express, whom may i add are

very

distraught on this incident, especially since the other 6 coaches catering for

areas of Yorkshire encountered NO PASSENGER CONFLICT OR PROBLEMS.
