we seem to import soo much rubbish like 'will + grace' yet we have an infinity of good british comedy

 

progs like: black books, spaced, couplings. so very british yet absolute classics

 

its like we're not even trying half the time as we seemt o be re-running the old stuff (granted they're quality) like 'only fools and hourses', 'faulty towers', 'r u being served' just becuase its cheeper and easyer then actually employing some of our tallen to invent new and interesting ways to make us couch-potatos laugh

I quite agree with you there mate.... I watched Carry on Camping last night even though its sad and corny i still laughed at it. Will and Grace don't interest me at all.

i'm willing to accept that there must be an audience 4 will and grace other wise it wouldnt get the air time. i just cant c the humour in it. its not sick or bad humour, its juts not any kinda humour that i understand. its all very dry and dull

 

can sum1 explain to me what it is about will and grace that appeals to em as i'm genuinly interested (not taking the piss here).

god yeah! well spaced is the best imo, but cuplings come a close 2nd. have that on DVD as well (both spaced and couplings)

I can't believe how little choice there is on tv wen we have more channels available than ever b4. TV people should really be making lots of good programmes to stick on the telly instead of constantly showing repeats.

 

Wat I find even more annoying is the tv plus channels that show exactly the same thing as the orginal channel only an hour later. Surely if people are that bothered they would record a programme

I'm not sure mate cos i don't really get the humour of it either. I've tried to watch it either got bored of it and switched it off or fell asleep during it.

its got to be 1 of the most intellegent and unique tv series i've ever seen

 

i'll lend u the DVD's (1st and 2nd series) if u want

Spaced, Black Books, The Office, etc... quality British comedy at its finest!

 

Will & Grace?

 

For me it's about the extremities of their personalities - traits that you see in people every day but that are overly-exaggerated to make it very comedic.

 

The funniest for me is Grace's secretary (can't remember her name). What a BITCH! but man, is she funny!
