iv just set this p.c up but the screen keeps jumping around, think it might have something to do with the smilie things, i said no to some java thingy when i first logged on to ctw, so now it has to download every 50 odd smilies everytime i make a reply!!!

 

could this be the reason

Sounds like either your screen resolution needs adjusting, the internet connection is playing up, you havent set it up right or you just have a crap computer.

 

Seriously though it does sound like the screen res (from the "jumping around" thing)...minimise everything, right click on a spare part of your start screen, click on Properties, then goto Settings at the top and try adjusting the screen size with the little slidey thing.

 

If it totally fooks up (screen goes blank and stays blank) reset the PC, after the initial screen has gone and the computer has "bleeped" (if you have speakers) press F8 and go to "SAFE MODE" then it should re-adjust itself to the settings it was before.

 

If none of that helps....ring a 24 hours computer help desk.

Solution: Dont come on to ClubTheWorld when you are pissed.

i wasnt pissed, im just thick as custard when it comes to pooters!!
