I'm looking for some advice. I'm headed over to Europe on August 22...I'll be in Edinburgh on August 23/24 (Saturday and Sunday) and in London on August 29 (Friday) and September 6 (Saturday).

 

Are there any suggestions as to which clubs I should check out? Are there any good websites that have listings for the clubs with DJ lineups?

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

what kinda music u after? theres club-the-world meetups of varying sizes every weekend in london

Since I have such a limited time, I'd like to check out the more "popular" places...it's always fun for me to compare from city to city. As for music, I'm up for anything (trance/house), but am mainly interested in a good vibe and a place to meet people.

ah [censored] you miss probably the best edinburgh night by one day! on the 24th august (sunday) we´ve got pete tong and desyn masiello at progression - I dont know the scene that well to be honest as I´ve just started getting into it, no doubt tomd (also edinburgh) can help you out....

ego is like a long gym hall...its weird, used to be a casino. You get the following nights there

nuklear puppy - hard trance..get good djs but the atomosphere is [censored]...unless i get on the stage with a short skirt and forget i have tiny thongs on lol

joy - one of edinburghs biggest gay nights - ace atomosphere

disco inferno (i think that still there)

loads of [censored] nights lol.

 

I will try and find out what on for you that weekend mate and let ya know...if not - tom d will defo help ya!!

 

Unfortunatley the two of us will be at wildchild..any other weekend and you could have cained it with moi!!

Hey, thanks for the info! I've been doing a little research. I found that Colours @ The Arches is going on that Saturday night. How is the Arches as a venue? Then, on Sunday night, Progression is having an event at Club Ego with Pete Tong, Medicine8, and Desyn Masiello. Will that be any good?

Arches is a great venue as is lquid rooms both nights are top quality nights mate! u should have fun

I've heard about the Liquid Room...what kind of music will they have those nights?
