I think it's something to do with John having a bit of a hectic personal life at the moment, and the time is right for him to move on. I do know that our RawKraft tracks have been sat waiting for release on the Hotwax label for a while too and nothing has happened, so it's probably all connected. Whatever happens though, best of luck to both John and the future of Hotwax.

yeah but surely if the company goes bust they no longer have the rights to the tracks as the label that signed them ceases to exist!

If they are folding due to financial reasons then Hotwax wont have the rights to give back! This is why many older tunes in this situation cant get a re-release as the costs of licensing the tracks is ridiculous

BUT.....like Claire said, we dont know whats happening to the label!
