i had one of my wisdom teeth out on Weds and it fucking hurt.

 

i am in serious pain.

ive been eating spaghetti with a variety of different sauces.

 

dolmio carbonara being my current favourite.

Fecking hate going to the dentist. It's okay when you're a kid and your teeth are perfect. But it doesn't matter how well I look after my teeth now (brushing after every meal, flossing, using a fancy electric toothbrush, rinsing with industrial strength mouthwash...) I still get gum problems, which invariably means having vibrating/scraping implements jammed down the crevices between my teeth and gums. Ugh.

 

Why should you have to pay for pain?

that is a git, i have had that before and it makes your breath rank.

corsodyl gets rid of it though.

ha ha, tell me about it. i work with them every day and i haven't let one of them look in my mouth for over 6 years....now thast says something about dentists, doesn't it???

Yep. I've used corsodyl as well.

 

Fecking irritating -- it seems to be the best I can do to continually 'fend it off'. If I slack for a couple of days and don't do the full brush/floss/mouthwash treatment ... or if I have a night of excess and my immune system is caned ... the gingivitis is back. Bastard.

 

I can also guarantee a couple of mouth ulcers after a major night out.

 

I understand it's a hereditary thing -- my mum gets gingivitis, so probably no coincidence I get it too.

i went nhs & i had my top right one out.

 

it cost 31 quid & that included my last 3 trips including two caps & wednesdays extraction.

 

im bruised inside my mouth and my cheek is a bit swollen but i am not brusied facially.

 

the bottom ones are worse apparently.

they are actually joined to your jaw unlike the top ones.

 

i dont fancy having those out.

yeah you have to be careful that nerves have not grown close around the roots, as will be fuck off painful when they are removed.

 

on most occasions when this happens the dentist will have to break the tooth up in the mounth and pull out small bits at a time, to try and preserve the nerve.

thats gunna cost £300 but luckily insurance covers it so only pay £50 excess fee

i had a local, but if you have all four out it will be a general for sure.

you will have to have that done is a hospital most probably because your dentist probably wont hae a qulified anaesthetist
