a pint of steela usually costs bout 1.90 or something like that and packet of crisps 30 to 35p so yes that is a bit much u paid

Well that sounds about right for a train...I paid £2.20 for a can of Stella on the train from London to B'mouth last weekend. Crisps are getting ridiculously expensive these days anyway. I mean...all they are is a packet of flavoured potato shavings.

 

Why is it you can buy a 5lb bag of spuds for about £2 but if you buy enough bags of crisps to make up the same weight it will come to about £30.

 

It just doesnt make sense.

Having not bought crisps for years I don't know how much they cost, but I'm sure its not too far off what Maria's said.

Im starting to LOVE beer, which is rather unusaul for me !

 

Im now drinking pints and my tolerance level is getting higher- I can drink 3 pints and im still standing ! :s

No...but thats all they are...or some are corn mashed into a paste then baked or fried.

 

If you think about how different crisps are made then its quite disgusting really. Its the same with most food and drink.

 

Look at wine...grapes crushed beneth peoples feet...I will NEVER be caught drinking wine...you never know if you got a glass of athletes foot cream or corn plaster residue.
