Cos you ahve to get a potatoe, wash it, clean it, peel it, slice it into little bits, deep fry it, flavour it and then stick it into an airtight container containing no air!

try doing all of that on a train or even at home easily on a regular basis

 

I wasnt talking about crisps on trains though...and I've scrubbed my spuds on a train before now...its difficult but the motion enhances the experience.
