u come across as an amazing person,

if ur dad cant make time for u or make u feel special(im in same plave cept dad and mum together) then he's not worth ur energy.

focus on urself and ur future,u sound as if u have amazing friends

and people around u that love u,sometimes its easy to focus on what we havent got rather then on what we have got.

dont let his actions get u down,ur worth more then that

Thats shit about your dad hun, trust me I know how ya feel. My dad's got a new family since my parents split up and I feel like a total outsider when I'm around them... Just try not to let it get you down, be independent, focus on living your own life for now and hopefully he'll come round with time.

My dad was an abusive shit for years but I still pursued with him because he was my dad. He got a new wife and since then wants nothing to do with my brothers and I...he even stood so low as to not even mention our names at my Nan's funeral but all other grandchildren got a mention. He lives just up the road from me...the situation is fucked and hurts me whenever I think about it.

 

At the end of the day you are fantastic and loved by so many people, it is totally his loss...he is missing out on such a beautiful and intelligent young lady grow.

I wish my Dad was still around, I lost him 3 weeks before i turned 21, so although you feel shite about the whole situation, be thankful in at least one way....

now this is where i gotta be there for him but he is never there 4 me

this is the 3rd time she has done it now!

 

spent all of his xmas bounus on her and her kids and left him again!

well it would seem he never learns hon, talk to him over the phone, but be honest, tell him how you really feel, who knows maybe he will listen!!

Be there for him. He may never be there for you, maybe he finds that hard, but doesn't mean you have to play his game.

 

You have the chance to turn it around and he obviously counts on you and appreciates your input.

 

Maybe this time you can talk some sense into him and save what could be a beautiful relationship.

 

Always give something a try, at least then you can say to yourself 'well I gave it my best shot'.
