I started using 1210's and wouldn't use anything else, you get what you pay for at the end of the day, but i'd suggest saving for Technics, the industry standard when all said & done!!

 

But it all boils down to money & preference!

 

Got to agree with you both there.

 

buy the decks you've been offered because they're a good deal, but it wont be long before you want some Technics. If you learn to mix on fair quality decks then when you do get your 1210's you'll be laughing! I started with bolloxed Soundlab DLP32s, bought some 1210G's about 2 months ago and finding it loads easier (when i've got em wired corectly to the mixer that is!!!)

 

Any decks is better than no decks groovy.gif
