everytime i get a vid out from vid shop - the bastard thing is not rewound!!! GGGRRR!!!

here they make ya pay a fine of like a dollar or so for them to rewind it...but i just rent dvd's now... no need..

i think in some vid shops they do do that charging thing but i reckon it should b made a permanent thing

it works here.. they make em pay it if they don't rewind and they check the movies before the ppl leave the store for rewind and damage... well physical damage anyways..

blockbuster vid shop ran this thing once and said that if the quality is poor - take it back and theyll a)refund it or b)give u one for free.

 

rented one with my housemates and lo and behold it was poor quality(massive big white line going thru middle of it), it was bareky watchable. so we took it back.

 

now bein students... we nearly always complain bout bein skint etc... and so when we took it back the staff were so reluctant to believe us ud have thought we were criminals.

for gods sake - we only rented a vid that was poo n took it back, and they thought we just wanted a free one!

well i not had that problem... generally nothin is said. but then again it's always a good thing when the guy behind the counter likes to flirt..lol

There's something known as "DVD" that has now been invented, try it, it's so much more *FuN*

they cna't check them if u post them through the letterbox. i always rewind it's a habit

I think its the ppl who work in the video shops that fast foward them all so everyone takes it home and is like ggggrrrrrrr!!!!
