It's a DNS server issue.

 

Everyone who has NTL will experience this because all Firewalls are being used against that "worm" so it's relaying your conenction due to the "worm" that was infected in all pc's.

 

It should regain "normality" hopefully soon

Yeah im having real problems with it as well. Pages not loading, and generally very slow etc. Thought it was because I hadnt paid the bill on time! Thanks Maria for explaining what it was causing this.

Also, there is another Spam virus out there, which is as virulent as LoveBug, so there is huge amount of traffic as well, which could be slowing the network down.

 

Why do people never write fun viruses?

because by and large, the people who wirte viruses are sad little nerds who have nothing better to do than ruin other people's fun.
